The Powerout can be removed from the outlet and when the 3 position switch is set to the light position it will silence the alarm and the LED will provide up to 8 hours of portable lighting. When power fails it will emit a pulsing 86DB alarm and illuminate 1 ultra-bright LED to provide safety lighting.
