The WT-3143A sets the time and date automatically to the WWVB radio signal that the National Institute of Standards & Technology (NIST), broadcasts from Fort Collins, Colorado. Just put in the battery; select the time zone and the atomic clock will set itself. If the clock does not receive the signal right away, just wait overnight and the clock will be set for you.
