PRO-909 is an economical clear acrylic primer for general purpose applications, such as sound paint. It is a better surface preparation than wall size. PRO-909 can be tinted with up to 4 oz. of colorant per gallon.

General Properties: An economical acrylic primer for general purpose applications such as over bare drywall and sound flat latex paint. This fast drying primer offers good film integrity and excellent water resistance for double-cutting and strippability.

Specification Data:
- Percent Solids: Approximately 9.7%
- Coverage: Approximately 450 square feet per gallon
- Viscosity: Approximately 1,400 - 1,800 cps
- VOC: Less than 90 grams/liter
- Drying Time: Drying time will vary depending on the temperature, ventilation and humidity of the room. Normally,less than one hour.
- Storage: Avoid freezing; keep in cool, dry place.
Application Instructions:-
Surface Preparation: Surface must be free from grease and other residues, dry, smooth and structurally sound. Check surfaces for paint bonding, damaged wallboard or plaster. Repair all unsound surfaces. Before proceeding with any unusual conditions, consult your adhesive or wallcovering supplier.
Tinting: Can be tinted with universal tints; 4 oz./gal. maximum
Dilution: Do not dilute
Application Method: Use only when the room temperature is above 50oF. Apply a thin, even coat of primer with a brush, roller, or spraying system.
Airless Spray: Pump: 45:1
Hose: 1/2” I.D.
Tip Size: .015 and larger
Gun psi: 1500-1700
Drying Time: VINYL PREP® is dry and ready to hang over in less than one hour. Low temperature, high humidity and poor ventilation will slow down the drying process.
Clean-Up: Before the primer dries, remove the excess with clean water. Brushes and rollers should be cleaned immediately after use with warm, clean water.
Caution: Do not freeze. Do not take internally. In case of ingestion, seek medical attention. Avoid contact with skin and eyes. Use of skin and eye protection is recommended at all times. If contact with eye occurs, flush with water for 15 minutes. If skin contact occurs, wash with soap and water. Seek medical
attention if rash or other symptoms occur. Do not mix with other chemicals. Use in a well ventilated work area. Close container after each use. Keep out of reach of children.
